How do I join?

You can sign up to BBC Global Minds by providing your own login credentials and completing our short registration survey. This will only take a couple of minutes. Once you’ve done this, your profile will be live and we will be able to send you surveys.

How often will I receive surveys?

Once you have completed our registration survey we will invite you from time to time to participate in surveys. Under normal circumstances we will send you a survey no more than once a week. We know your time is valuable, so we will do our best to invite you to surveys that are relevant to you. To participate, click on the link provided in the email and follow the instructions.

How often may I participate in any one survey?

Our surveys are by invitation only and to ensure the highest standards of professional research you can complete any given survey only once.

How do I change / update my profile?

Make sure you are logged in, click on 'My Profile', make the amends and then click on 'save changes'

I have forgotten my username and password - what do I do?

Click on the "Forgotten Password" link next to the log in.

Do I need to login more than once each time I visit BBC Global Minds?

No, you just need to log in once when you visit the site. You will be automatically logged out after a period of inactivity so if you leave the page open for a while and come back you may need to log in again.

Do I need to login each time I visit?

If you visit BBC Global Minds regularly and don’t wish to type in your credentials each time you want to login, click 'Remember me on this computer' and you will be logged in automatically when you navigate to the site. 

Please note that if you leave your session open for a while you will be automatically logged out after a period of inactivity. This would require you to log in again.

Can I leave BBC Global Minds at any time?

You are under no obligation to stay in the BBC Global Minds Panel any longer than you wish to. Each survey that we send will give you an opportunity to unsubscribe, or you can log onto the BBC Global Minds panel website any time to update your preferences or unsubscribe via your profile page. 

Is the information I give you safe?

We take your privacy as seriously as you do. All surveys are administered by Maru/edr, trading as Maru/matchbox, an accredited Market Research Society company. We will use your data in accordance with our privacy policy which you can find at https://marumatchbox.com/uk-privacy-policy/.

Who are Maru/edr?

Maru/edr, trading as Maru/matchbox are a market research agency. They are our partners in operating BBC Global Minds and administering surveys on behalf of the BBC. They are an accredited Market Research Society Member based in the UK. For more information about Maru/edr, trading as Maru/matchbox, please see their website.
